Customs & Duties (International Orders)

Pelican Planet is a Portugal-based business, and orders are dispatched from Portugal.

Orders within the European Union

Orders delivered within the EU generally do not require customs clearance when goods are shipped from Portugal. Applicable VAT is handled according to the relevant tax rules of the country of destination.

Orders to the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and other non-EU destinations

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee and are the responsibility of the customer. The amount payable, if any, depends on the destination country's regulations, the value and type of goods, and their country of origin.

Customs authorities may also request additional information or documentation, which can cause delays to delivery.

If you refuse to accept delivery of your parcel, you will be responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes and return shipping fees incurred.
